Avenue in the 1950's

Levy Brothers
Opened in 1925. A major renovation in 1986 turned the building into
a small shopping mall. 
Miller Drug Company
Originally opened shorty after the 1906 earthquake. In 1913, the business
was moved to a one-story building on the corner of Burlingame Avenue
and Lorton.
Greyhound Bus Depot
Built in 1939. Greyhound left the building in 1989. The exterior was
remodeled in 1990 and is now a small restaurant. Peninsula Theatre
Opened in 1926. It became the Fox Theatre in 1957 and the building was
converted into Fox Mall.

Burlingame
Library
Opened in 1931. Remodeled in 1997 and now has a basement and
a second floor. 
Bordens Dairy
Opened in 1938 and closed in 1970. The property is now an automobile
dealership. 
Miller Drug Company
In 1917, the building was torn down and a new "modern" commercial
building was built to house Miller Drug. Three years later, in 1930,
the store was completely renovated and the soda fountain was added.

Burlingame City Hall
Build in 1913 and torn down in 1970.
Fox Theatre
Was originally the Peninsula Theatre.
